Wilmette (IL) Violinist to Perform at Maryland Church
BOWIE, MD (January 6, 2004) - Violinist Dawn Gingrich of Winnetka Covenant
Church in Wilmette, Illinois, will perform at Church of the Redeemer at
7 p.m. January 17 with a freewill offering earmarked for the church's
building project.
Gingrich attended the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston before
heading to Longy's School of Music in nearby Cambridge, where she is
candidate for the Artist's Diploma. She will be accompanied by Eliko
Akahori, PhD candidate at New England Conservatory performing works by
Beethoven, Chausson and Ravel. Dawn and Eliko will be joined by Dawn's
father, Daniel Gringrich, also a member at Winnetka Covenant and
Associate Principal Horn in the Chicago Symphony, in the Brahms Horn Trio.
Church of the Redeemer is located at 7300 Racetrack Drive in Bowie, a
suburb of Washington D.C. Reservations are being taken for the concert
