Chicago TV Program to Highlight Swedish Covenant Hospital
CHICAGO, IL (January 20, 2004) - Swedish Covenant Hospital will be featured in a
one-hour episode of Inside Chicago this Wednesday evening on WTTW
Channel 11.
The program, which airs at 8 p.m. (CST), takes an exclusive
behind-the-scenes look at places doing great things in Chicago. "We
anticipate the scripts to focus on a night in the emergency department,
angioplasty, open heart surgery and cardiac rehabilitation," says CEO Mark
Newton. Swedish Covenant is administered by Ministries of Benevolence of
the Evangelical Covenant Church.
"Enormous thanks to the physicians and staff members in these areas who
accommodated the filming crews during the past 12 months of interviews,"
Newton notes. "This is wonderful exposure for the hospital and our people."
