Concert to Feature Brahms Requiem

CHICAGO, IL (April 28, 2004) - The North Park University (NPU) School of Music will present Johannes Brahms' "Ein Deutsches Requiem, Opus 45" at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the school's Anderson Chapel.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for faculty and staff and $5 for students. Advanced ticket purchase is recommended due to limited seating. Anderson Chapel is wheelchair accessible. Parking is available at the corner of Foster and Kedzie avenues.

The North Park Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Tom Zelle, and the North Park University Choir, prepared by Rollo Dilworth, will perform the Requiem in German, with projected translations. Stephanie Sheffield (soprano) and Ron Watkins (baritone) will be the soloists for the performance.
