Numerous Youth Confirmed by Covenant Congregations
CHICAGO, IL (May 26, 2004) - CHICAGO, IL (May 26) – Many young people have completed the confirmation
process in the Evangelical Covenant Church and haven been recognized by
their respective congregations during worship services.
Following is a list of confirmands whose names were reported in the more
than 250 local church newsletters received each month by the Department
of Communication. Information is presented by conference and region.

CENTRAL
- Chicago, Illinois: North Park Covenant Church confirmed Alyssa and
Ryne Anderson, Jonathan Dawson, Kjerstin Johnson, Alex Nordstrom and
Andrew Sullivan-Knoff on May 23.
- Chicago, Illinois: Ravenswood Evangelical Covenant Church confirmed
Aaron Boock, Anna Erickson and Amanda Englund on May 9.
- Iron River, Michigan: Grace Covenant Church confirmed Brandon Aho,
Sari Franzene, Tara Jenkins, Ashley Latvala, Samantha Saigh and Zachary
Stuck on May 23.
- Oak Lawn, Illinois: Trinity Covenant Church confirmed Libby Welch
and Grace Rosengren at a recent confirmation service.
- Paxton, Illinois: The Evangelical Covenant Church of Paxton
confirmed T.J. Howe, Nicole Thompson and Paige Saldeen on May 16.
- South Bend, Indiana: The Evangelical Covenant Church of South Bend
confirmed Gordon Sill, Duncan Kinuthia and Mark Olsen on May 23.
- Wilmette, Illinois: Winnetka Covenant Church confirmed Julia and
Jenna Clausen, Maren Lyngso, Evan Magill, Tyler Nelson, Colin
Quackenbush and Eric Wallgren on May 23.
EAST COAST
- Cromwell, Connecticut: Hilltop Covenant Church will confirm Anders
Pierson and Sara Pessa during its June 13 worship service.
- East Hampton, Connecticut: Haddam Neck Covenant Church confirmed
Michael Brahen, Alicia Delosier, Jasmine Gutt, Erin Murray, William
Patterson and Kristina Smith on May 16.
- Granby, Connecticut: Pilgrim Covenant Church recently confirmed Lars
Anderson, Allison Corcoran, Andrew Dahlman, Kiera Johnson, Jonathan
Karimi, Lindsey Kelbick, Christine Kiely, Kaitlyn Marks, Joey Martin,
Evan Moreau, Kevin Morey and Ryan Rush.
- Hopkinton, Massachusetts: Community Covenant Church confirmed Kate
Doremus on May 2.
- Naugatuck, Connecticut: Hillside Covenant Church will confirm
Michael Blaisdell, Erik Cote, Michael Duffy and Timmy Tousignant on June 6.
- Thomaston, Connecticut: The Covenant Church of Thomaston will
confirm James Blake, Zachary DeBisschop, Alex Dunn, David Fredlund,
Jordan Gomes, Greg Lush, Josh Olsen, Liza Cracco, Courtney Hurlbert,
Morgan James, Rachel Lanesey and Kim Gundersen on June 13.
- West Hartford, Connecticut: Covenant Congregational Church confirmed

- Attleboro, Massachusetts: The Evangelical Covenant Church of

- East Bridgewater, Massachusetts: Community Covenant Church confirmed

- North Easton, Massachusetts: Covenant Congregational Church

- South Plainfield, New Jersey: Pilgrim Covenant Church confirmed

- Salem, Oregon: Trinity Covenant Church confirmed Christine Always,
Beth Brandaw, Bekah Chin, Jakson Clark, Neil Cohen, Marshall Cuffe,
Kelsey Hancock, Jai Harke, Eric Herman, Hannah Paysinger, Mathew Purdy,
Becca Schaefer, Brittany Schutt, Haley Todd and Staci Wood during a
recent confirmation service. The church has run its confirmation program
with the assistance of young adult and adult mentors called Counselor
Friends. They are Rebecca Butler, Libby Latham, Ruth Johnson, Paul Wulf,
Mike Upchurch, Dan Porth, Teri Schaefer, Nancy Kuhlman, Larry Weber,
Kirsten Roy, Margaret Porth, Tom Hewitt, Teresa Hancock, LuAnne Farrar,

- Mount Vernon, Washington: Bethany Covenant Church confirmed Kiffer

Ashley Olson, Curtis Sweeten, Brenton Wickstrom and Spencer Williamson
on June 13 during morning worship.
- Santa Barbara, California: Montecito Covenant Church confirmed Andy
and Gina Gress, Kelly Hart and Kelley Stevens on May 9.
- Valley Springs, California: Good Samaritan Community Covenant Church
confirmed Madelyn Erickson, Daniel Frank, Andrew Graves, Matt McKelroy,
