Triennial XI Photos Posted Online
CHICAGO, IL (August 17, 2004) - Now that Triennial XI has concluded, a number
of photographs taken during the three-day event are available for a
limited time on the Evangelical Covenant Church website at
www.covchurch.org.
"We were pleased to provide Covenanters with daily coverage of this
major Covenant news event," said Don Meyer, executive minister of
Covenant Communications. "For the first time, we had a Communications
staff member, Jan Gray, on site to provide information and take
photographs for writing and processing in the Chicago office. The
coverage illustrates once again the power of the Internet medium – the
ability to transmit notes and photos via email and have staff in a
distant location electronically edit the photos, write finished stories
and post the packages within minutes of the conclusion of those
activities."
Several hundred photographs have been posted in a somewhat smaller
format and are available by visiting the Triennial XI Photo
Gallery. Over the next several days, photos will be sorted and
grouped by activity and re-posted to the Covenant website – the original
unedited group currently available will be replaced by the edited package.
