Crossroad Covenant Seeks Former Choir Members for Anniversary
FOREST LAKE, MN (September 20, 2004) - Crossroads Covenant Church is readying
for its 100th anniversary celebration on October 17 and is interested in
finding former choir members for special music numbers being sung that day.
At the 9:30 a.m. October 17 worship service, three previous pastors -
Richard Haferman, Robert Atkins and Bill Orris - are slated to attend.
So are former choir directors Cordell Wellman, Jerry Rubino, Jeff Meyer,
Tim Sawyer, and Murray Hiebert. Each of the former directors will
conduct a choir number from their tenure and hopes to have former
members sing with current members.
Anyone interested in singing one of the special numbers is asked to join
the choir at rehearsals on Monday, October 11 (at 6:45 p.m.), or
Saturday, October 16 (at 9 a.m.)
