Grants Available to Improve Facility Access
CHICAGO, IL (May 20, 2005) – Evangelical Covenant Churches in the Chicago area
that are seeking to improve the accessibility of their facilities may
apply for grants that will pay up to 50 percent of the total cost – to a
maximum of $25,000.
The Retirement Research Foundation makes grants to houses of worship in
Cook, Lake and Du Page counties. The application deadline is August 1.
Improvements should allow increased participation on the part of the
elderly and people with disabilities involved in the programs, services
and general activities of the facilities. The full description of the
