5th Dimension Duo to Present Gospel Concert
ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, CA (October 5, 2005) - Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis,
formerly of the widely acclaimed pop group The 5th Dimension, will
present a free gospel concert at 7 p.m. on October 23 at Rolling Hills
Covenant Church.
Following the concert, the duo will autograph copies of their new book,
Up, Up, and Away, which recounts how their faith has grown
through the many obstacles and challenges they encountered during their
years in the music industry.
The 5th Dimension earned seven Grammy awards for hits that included "Up,
Up and Away," "Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In," "One Less Bell to Answer,"
and "You Don't Have to Be a Star." The duo is now backed by their
ensemble, Soldiers of the Second Coming. They have released two gospel
albums.
An offering will be taken. No child care is available. For more
