Two Services Set for Helga Swanson
DASSEL, MN (December 9, 2005) - Funeral services for Helga Swanson, 100, will
be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Lake Jennie Evangelical Covenant
Church in Dassel. Visitation will precede the service, and burial will
be in the church cemetery. Swanson died Monday in Arvada, Colorado.
She was married to Covenant pastor Clarence Swanson. The Lake Jennie
church was the first and last he served. He is buried in the church
cemetery.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. December 16 at the
Arvada Covenant Church. A resident of Covenant Village of Colorado,
Swanson celebrated her centennial birthday in November.
Swanson was the mother of pastor Wes Swanson and grandmother of pastor
Luke Swanson, both of whom survive.
