NPU Sports Teams Announce Awards of Excellence
CHICAGO, IL (December 26, 2005) - North Park University fall sports teams have
announced awards of excellence for each of their members, grouped by teams:
Men's Soccer
- MVP - Austin Person
- Viking Award (team leadership award) - Jamie Rose and Darryl Payne
- Rookie of the Year - Elvis Fikic
- Most Improved Player - Don Pittman
- Captains for 2006 - Adam Sinovic, Matt Bond, Austin Person
Women's Soccer Team
- Rookie of the Year - Annie Silbernagel.
- Offensive Players of the Year - Carly Thomforde and Abbie Frank
- Defensive Player of the Year - Mallory Nelson
- Viking Award - Erin Neises
- Leadership Award - Melanie Morgan
- Player's Player - Abbie Frank
Volleyball
- MVP - Shannon Zoll
- Most Improved Player - Christine Stacy
- Viking Award (most inspirational player) - Amanda Phoenix
- Rookie of the Year - Vanessa Davis
