News Flow Affected by Holiday Schedules
CHICAGO, IL (December 28, 2005) - News content in the online Covenant news
report will be lighter than normal during the remainder of this week due
to holiday and related staffing schedules.
Normal news flow will resume Tuesday next week, following the Monday New
Year's Day holiday, says Don Meyer, executive minister of Covenant
Communications. ""It is difficult to maintain the same level of content
on a daily basis with such a small staff during Christmas and New Year's
holidays," he notes.
However, news items will be posted as material is provided. If your
church or organization has news items to submit for consideration, they
may be sent by email to newsdesk@covchurch.org. Photographs may be
attached in JPEG format – make certain to provide photo caption
information as part of the email content. Just answer the basic five
questions – who, what, where, when and why – and also answer the
question "How will this make a difference in my . . . (ministry, church,
community, etc.). Staff will write and posted the finished news stories.
"We appreciate all of the good support our churches and affiliated
ministries provide in maintaining a vibrant news and information
service," Meyer says. "The news serves not only to inform, but also to
cross-pollinate ministry ideas and connect those engaged in similar
ministries."
