Swanberg Accepts Florida Chaplain Position
CROMWELL, CT (June 13, 2006) - Judy Swanberg, associate superintendent of the East
Coast Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church, will leave her position as
associate superintendent to become a chaplain at Covenant Village of Florida in
Plantation, Florida, Covenant News Service has learned.
She will leave her current position sometime in August to begin her new
vocation in September.
"While we are truly excited for this new development in Judy's life, we are
going to miss her presence in conference ministry enormously," says
Superintendent Bob Dvorak. "Judy has served the East Coast Conference with
distinction and energy for four-plus years. What a wonderfully contributing
colleague and friend she has been to all of us, and a faithful servant of God.
We will miss her special presence."
