Annual Meeting Stories to Remain Available
CHICAGO, IL (June 22, 2006) - All news coverage and other information coming out of the 121st Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Covenant Church is available in the 2006 Annual Meeting portion of this website and will remain archived there, according to Don Meyer, executive minister of the Department of Communication.
“There are approximately 30 individual news stories with photographs covering all aspects of the Annual Meeting, as well as downloadable podcasts of the evening worship service sermons, the delegate summary, and copies of various PowerPoint presentations,” he notes. Before the end of today, downloadable copies of the evening worship services also will be available for viewing.
“We initially post all of the stories as part of the regular online Covenant news report,” Meyer points out. “However, once the meeting is concluded, we remove those stories related to the Annual Meeting from the regular news report and keep them archived in the Annual Meeting portion of the site for the convenience of browsers.” The stories also are retained in the regular online news archive.
