Memorial Service Thursday for Doris Anderson
GOLDEN VALLEY, MN (July 17, 2006) - A memorial service will be conducted Thursday for Doris Anderson, wife of retired Evangelical Covenant Church Pastor Carold Anderson. She died early Saturday morning at Colonial Acres Health Care Center in Golden Valley.
The service will begin at 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Center at Covenant Village, according to campus chaplain John H. Satterberg. Pastor Harry Westberg and Satterberg will conduct the service.
The Andersons have resided at Covenant Village of Golden Valley for the past four years. Doris faithfully supported her husband, Carold, as he served as pastor of nine Covenant churches during the course of his career. During retirement they served ten interim pastorates.
Survivors include two daughters who live in Minnesota, a son who lives in North Carolina, and a son who lives in Alaska.
