Memorial Service Set for Prof. Elmer Ost
SPRING VALLEY, CA (September 28, 2006) - A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, October 7, for retired North Park University Prof. Elmer Ost who died Sunday
evening. The service will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Miguel Covenant Village, where Ost and his wife, Ruth, have resided for a number of years, according to Chaplain Carl
Ramgren. Ost and his wife had been married for nearly 63 years at the
time of his death.
“I know he was a professor at North Park College (now university) when I was a student there from 1958 to 1963 as I went through North Park College and North Park Theological Seminary,” Ramgren said.
