Minnesota Church Expands Winter Concert Series
BLOOMINGTON, MN (December 15, 2006) – Bloomington Covenant Church’s first Winter Concert Series was so successful last year, packing the 500-seat sanctuary, that the church has scheduled three more concerts for January, February, and March.
Pianist Huntley Brown of Aurora, Illinois, will begin the series with a performance on January 21. This year he has played and shared his testimony in several countries, including Ireland, Hong Kong, and the Ukraine.
Tenor Paul Pitts of Orlando, Florida, who is known around the world as the Pavarotti of Christian music, will sing February 18. He was the featured soloist for the Concert of Peace in Belfast, Ireland, earning praise from international dignitaries that included Queen Elizabeth.
The Chancellors Quartet of Minneapolis, Minnesota, will perform March 11. Audiences throughout the United States and Canada have been listening to their Southern Gospel renditions since 1970.
All concerts will be at 6 p.m., and a freewill offering will be taken. For more information, call the church at 952-831-6651.
