Christmas: A Time for Reflection
CHICAGO, IL
(December 25, 2006) – The
noise and the rush of the crowds have faded. There is an air of expectation and
anticipation. The Christ Child has come.
Tens of millions of Christians around the world celebrate
this day the coming of the Savior, the long-promised Messiah. The tiny baby
lying in a manger, who would forever change the world.
Today is the perfect time to reflect on the power of that
single life and to consider ways in which we can share the message of peace and
love that Jesus brought into the world.
Enjoy the fellowship of family and friends. But, may you
also take time to reflect on the real meaning of Christmas.
