The Rebuilding Effort Continues
PUNE, INDIA (February 5, 2007) - Covenant World Relief dollars continue to be hard at work more than two years following the December 2004 tsunami. Following are some of the images from that work, collected during a recent "accountability tour" by Jim Sundholm and Elliott Johnson that took them to Sri Lanka, various parts of India, and the Andaman Islands. | These metal buildings have served as temporary housing for many of the people displaced by the December 2004 tsunami. | Workers construct new houses that will eventually become home to many displaced families, thanks to the good work of Covenant World Relief dollars and the work of CWR's partners.
| | | Another example of the kinds of new homes being provided through Covenant World Relief's efforts with partners in India, Sri Lanka and the Andaman Islands.
