Easter Worship Art
CHICAGO, IL (April 13, 2007) - Following are examples of artwork that is increasingly finding its way into the worship experiences of many Covenant churches. 
| This paper banner was created for the Lindsborg Covenant Church "Sermon on the Mount" series by church member Shelly Carlson. Made of paper, the words of the Lord's Prayer around the edge provide a frame for the rest of the text.
| Photographs were used by the Paxton Covenant Church to powerfully illustrate the first word of the last seven words of Jesus. Different photos show how hands can be misused - such as "This hand drinks too much ..." or "This hand hurt someone," using the vivid image of a clenched fist - concluding with the outstretched hand on a cross, "This hand forgave them all ..." the collection was created by Richard Lichlyter-Klein.
