Memorial Service July 5 for Clara Elizabeth Bergstrom

NORTHBROOK, IL (June 14, 2007) – A memorial service for Clara Elizabeth Bergstrom, 97, will be conducted at 2 p.m. July 5 at the Community Covenant Church in Carlshend, Michigan.

Bergstrom, the wife of retired Evangelical Covenant Church pastor David Bergstrom, died June 4 at Brandel Care Center in Northbrook.

She was born October 31, 1909, in Ishpeming, Michigan, and married David Bergstrom on February 4, 1934. He preceded her in death.

The Bergstroms served churches in Massachusetts, Nebraska, Colorado, and Illinois from 1934-1958.

Survivors include a daughter, Joanne Siraq; a son, Roger Bergstrom; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
