Project, Short-Term Missionaries Commissioned
PORTLAND, OR (June 23, 2007) – Following are the project and short-term missionaries in the Department of World Mission who were commissioned during the 122nd Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
Project missionaries
Dennis and Heather Choate - home church, Life Covenant in Edmond, Oklahoma; serving in East Asia (July 2007); assignment, teaching English and computers. Peter and Anna Kim - home church, New Community Covenant in Chicago, Illinois; serving in East Asia (July 2007); assignment, community development with the Evergreen Family Friendship Service.
Dale Lusk - home church, Foothill in Los Altos, California; Dolores Park in San Francisco, California; currently serving with Covenant Merge Ministries; assignment, executive director.
Jim and Liz Sedore - home church, Grace Covenant in Olympia, Washington; serving in Central Asia (April 2008); assignment, forestry, community development, discipleship, social work.
Eric and Karyn Sorenson - home church, Crossroads Covenant in Concord, California; serving in Guam (August 2007); assignment, pastoral training, counseling at Pacific Island Bible College.
