Services Pending for Covenant Pastor John Marks
LIVINGSTON, NJ (July 18, 2007) – Funeral services are pending for Evangelical Covenant Church pastor John Marks, 62, who died Tuesday.
 Marks was born September 15, 1944. He married his wife, Terry, on March 3, 1970. He was treasurer for the Covenant Ministerium and has served Trinity since 1999. Terry serves on the Board of Women Ministries.
Marks earned his Master of Divinity degree from North Park Theological Seminary in 1999. He also had a Master of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati, and a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York in Fredonia.
Prior to entering ministry, Marks had worked as a public relations director and an instructor at the University of Cincinnati as well as public school systems in New York.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa; son, Peter; and daughter, Jennifer.
