Nebraska Church Celebrates 125 Years
OMAHA, NE (August 13, 2007) – President Glenn Palmberg will speak three times at the final celebration of First Covenant Church’s 125th anniversary to be held September 8-9.
The weekend ceremonies begin with a reception to be held from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Several former pastors and their spouses also will be present, and commemorative memorabilia will be displayed.
A banquet will follow at 6 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall. Palmberg will speak during the program that follows. He also will preach at the two morning worship services to be held at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday.
