Restrepo Now a U.S. Citizen

CHICAGO, IL (December 7, 2007) - Following are moments captured during Tuesday's swearing-in ceremony for Eugenio Restrepo, who received United States citizenship.

Supporters of Eugenio Restrepo look on as the swearing in ceremony takes place in the Federal Building in Chicago on Tuesday. They are (from left) Greg Mesimore, pastor of Edgebrook Evangelical Covenant Church in Chicago; Brian Kletzing, co-pastor of Northwest Covenant Church in Mount Prospect; Ann Helen Anderson, who works with international students at North Park University; and Margie and Baxter Swenson, with the Department of World Mission.	The oath of citizenship was administered in one of the more dignified appearing courtrooms located in the Federal Building in Chicago. A total of 104 individuals received the oath of citizenship, with some 200 individuals on hand for the occasion.
Restrepo is shown pledging allegiance to the United States of America.	Kletzing and Margie Swenson admire the certificate of citizenship Restrepo received.
