News Report Adjusted During Christmas Break

CHICAGO, IL (December 21, 2007) – The Covenant News Service team will be taking a brief break over Christmas to spend time with family and friends, which means fewer stories than normal next Monday, Christmas Eve, and Tuesday, Christmas Day.

However, readers will want to check in on December 24 for Don Meyer’s reflection on gifts often not acknowledged and for which we fail to say thank you, as well as a special Christmas Day meditation by pastor M. Karen Lichlyter-Klein on the paradoxes of the Christmas story.

Normal news flow will resume Wednesday, December 26. Staff at Covenant News Service and the Covenant Communications team want to thank the thousands of faithful readers of the daily online Covenant news report for their support and encouragement and extend to all in the Covenant family a wish for a Christmas filled with the warmth of family and friends and God’s presence.
