Gilbreath to Speak at North Park Next WeekCHICAGO, IL (February 15, 2008) - Ed Gilbreath, author of Reconciliation Blues: A Black Evangelical’s Inside View of White Christianity, will speak during two events Wednesday at North Park University and North Park Theological Seminary.
He is editorial director for Urban Ministries, a former editor of Today’s Christian magazine, and is an editor-at-large for Christianity Today. Philip Yancey has referred to Gilbreath as a “gentle prophet.” Publisher’s Weekly describes Reconciliation Blues as “a poignant and often humorous look at the state of racial reconciliation within evangelical Christianity.” For more information, email the Center for Youth Ministry Studies or call 773-244-5207.
