Letters Requested for Special Palmberg Presentation
CHICAGO, IL (March 7, 2008) – In preparation for the retirement of Evangelical Covenant Church President Glenn Palmberg, a special book of letters is being assembled for presentation to Palmberg during the 123rd Annual Meeting in Green Lake, Wisconsin.
Palmberg has developed numerous friendships and professional relationships with individuals from around the world during his nearly 10 years as president. He also has encountered hundreds of Covenanters at any number of Covenant events throughout North America.
The book of letters project is designed to provide an opportunity for individuals to share the many memories that have developed during his terms in office.
The guidelines are fairly simple:
• Limit contributions to a single standard letter-size page (8.5 x 11 inches) with a one-inch margin on all sides
• Within those space constraints, be as creative as desired in terms of artwork as well as text
• Do not fold the letters - place them flat inside a larger envelope to facilitate proper binding in the book
• Mail letters to Sally Johnson, Evangelical Covenant Church, 5101 N. Francisco Avenue, Chicago, IL, 60625
• If preferred, messages may be emailed to Sally Johnson
• All submissions must be received no later than end of day on Friday, May 2
