Covenanter Named CCIW Hitter of the Week
CHICAGO, IL (March 20, 2008) - North Park baseball senior Brady Josephson earned CCIW Hitter of the Week honors for the week of March 17- 21. Josephson, the son of Neil and Sharol Josephson, is from Strathmore, Alberta, where he attended Hope Community Covenant Church. He distinguished himself over the course of seven games played last week at the Russ Matt Tournament held in Arizona. Josephson posted a .642 batting average, and .857 slugging percentage, a .714 on-base percentages, 8 RBIs, 13 runs scored and 2 stolen bases. He was error-free in 43 chances. The Vikings finished the tournament 4-3.
