CHICAGO, IL (April 3, 2008) – A change in the way a congregation does its budgeting and the appointment of the new associate superintendent of the East Coast Conference were among the most-read articles in the Evangelical Covenant Church’s online news report during March.

Montecito Covenant Church changed the way it develops the ministry portion of its budget, a move that has enabled the congregation to more closely align its expenses with ministry priorities, according to pastor Don Johnson.

Peter Sung, currently serving as senior pastor of Queenswest Covenant Church in Queens, New York, was selected to serve as associate superintendent of the East Coast.
