Memorial Service Thursday for Elizabeth Burke
ANTIOCH, CA (May 13, 2008) – A memorial service for Elizabeth “Lisa” Burke, 59, will be conducted at 5 p.m. Thursday  at Golden Hills Community Church in Brentwood. She was the wife of Mike Burke, pastor emeritus of New Hope Community Covenant Church in Antioch.
Burke, who would have turned 60 on Mother's Day, was killed in a three-vehicle crash last Wednesday. She was returning from her job as a special education teacher when a delivery truck crossed the center line and hit her car head-on, according to news reports.
Burke is survived by her husband, four adult children, and one grandchild.
