Service Held for Doris Anderson
TURLOCK, CA (May 27, 2008) – A memorial service was conducted Saturday for Doris (Bergstedt) Anderson, 94, widow of former Evangelical Covenant Church pastor and administrator Paul W. Anderson. She died Friday. The service was held at Covenant Village of Turlock.
Anderson was born May 15, 1914. She and Paul Anderson were married in 1938.
They served Covenant churches in South Bend, Indiana; Fresno and San Jose, California; and Muskegon, Michigan. He was superintendent of the Northwest Conference and later executive secretary of the Department of Home Mission.
He preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Anderson; and son, David Anderson.
