Newly Released Video Highlights Benevolence Ministries
CHICAGO, IL (July 10, 2008) – A new five-minute video highlighting the work of Covenant Ministries of Benevolence (CMB) is now available, following its premier showing during the 123rd Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) in Green Lake, Wisconsin.
“Hands and Feet of Ministry” was developed to acquaint Covenanters and others with the work of CMB and to encourage Covenant churches and conferences to take advantage of the resources CMB provides. CMB staff will use the new video to introduce CMB to audiences nationwide, a spokesperson says.
Following a brief introductory history of the denomination’s domestic outreach efforts, the video focuses on CMB’s three major ministry categories: health and wellness ministries, senior adult ministries, and outreach ministries.
The video was produced by the ECC Department of Communication and marks the beginning of increased collaboration between CMB and the recently expanded department.
