Every Christian Tells the Story

“Guiding the mission of evangelism in the local church is a great challenge. As a senior pastor in Long Beach, I face the same challenges. I am eager provide evangelism leadership insights and offer practical philosophy and resources to strengthen evangelism in your local church.”

   - John Teter, evangelism team leader (ECC)

The vision of 72 is to empower ordinary, non-professional, and anonymous disciples to demonstrate and declare the Kingdom of God. 72 is not a curriculum but a ministry philosophy that is relevant and applicable to every disciple in your congregation. There is a special emphasis on those with the spiritual gift of evangelism and how the pastor can be of service to help develop that gift.

Personal Resources

Ask the Lord of the Harvest

We all have relationships in four quadrants of life (biological, geographical, vocational, and recreational) and are called to earnestly pray to the Lord of the Harvest.

The Conversion Process

When we understand the process of conversion and our roles in that process, we can begin to focus and improve our evangelism. We are called to pray, introduce Jesus, tell the story, and call for a commitment of lifelong discipleship.

Telling the Story

So many of our friends do not know the story of Jesus, how he worked in our lives, or how he has worked in our church. As our friends experience the kingdom of God through our lives, our words will help them understand God’s larger purposes.
