Small Group Ministry“I need you, you need me. We’re all a part of God’s body.” These are the words sung by Hezekiah Walker from the gospel song, “I Need You to Survive.” These words are particularly realized in small group ministry settings as group members companion together to share their spiritual formation journeys in deeper ways. From our GROW acronym, we believe that healthy and effective spiritual growth takes place in the context of relationships (R), both within peer groups and across generations. We encourage people to be in discipling, mentoring or small group relationships that produce growth, and to foster relationships both within and outside of the church, all for the purpose of being transformed into the likeness of Christ. Coming soon to this site, we will offer tips and resources for creating and maintaining healthy small groups. We really do need each other to survive. |
