WHAT IS FORMATION FORUM?
Formation Forum is open to any
Midwinter participant and is designed for those ministering to and
interested in disciple forming ministry with adults, children, youth, and
families. This three-day event is committed to helping pastors and
leaders move their congregations toward a deep and lasting daily walk
with Christ. You are invited to:
- Network and dialogue with other Covenanters who are committed to life long discipleship
- Share church and ministry experiences
- See the latest Christian Formation Discipleship Resources
- Explore next steps for discipleship in your church community

- Breakout Sessions
- Free Continental Breakfasts and Free Forum Lunches. Registration is required and space is limited. See registration information below.
- Chicago Loop Trip - Tuesday evening in downtown Chicago via the "El" train. For more detailed information about this evening, click here.
- Complimentary Ice Cream Floats - Monday and Wednesday after worship.

| FORUMSDiscipleship in the Covenant Church, Steve Burger Is our approach to discipleship the same today as yesterday? What does it look like in your church? In other Covenant churches? Explore together what we are doing as churches to help persons of all ages grow deeper in their relationship with Christ. Justice and Discipleship, Debbie Blue and Wilson Herrera Explore justice within the context of our faith walk as individuals, families, adn the church. What is Justice? What does Jesus haev to say about it? How is it manifested within our discipleship journey? Spiritual Practices and Discipleship, Doreen Olson Come and explore and experience spiritual disciplines. Take the opportunity to think through what nourishes yoru spirit and helps you and your church connect with God. |
