	KEVIN FARMER Council Chair Associate Pastor and Director of Equipping and Formation at the Sanctuary Covenant Church in Minneapolis, MN. A 15 year veteran of working with children, youth & young adults, Kevin has a tremendous desire to see young people as well as those who shepherd them grow into the fullness of all that God desires for them. Kevin received his BA in Africana Studies from the University of Pittsburgh and his MA in Christian Education from Bethel Theological Seminary. Kevin lives with his 3 favorite people, his wife Lynn, son Noah and daughter Maya.
	BRIAN ALNES Excursions Executive Director of Lake Beauty Bible Camp Long Prairie, MN My greatest joy in ministry is watching students GROW Deeper in their Walk with Jesus, whatever it takes. God has blessed me with an amazing wife Rhonda we have been married for 17 years and He has blessed us as a couple with 4 boys (12-3 years old).
	BRUCE BAEHR Human and Spiritual Services Associate Pastor, Grace Covenant Church, Clay (Syracuse area), New York Bruce enjoys spending time with one of his favorite people, his grandson, at one of his favorite places, Whitaker Lake in the Adirondack Mountains.
	MICHELLE BEILBY Service Component Michelle is a Mom/Seminary Student/Mentor.
	MARTI BURGER Director of Youth and Family Ministries Marti loves walks, time with family, the gift of working with teams in planning and her wonderful husband of 30 years.
	KRIS CAUSTON Developing The Story Adjunct Instructor, Bethel University My eight-year career as a waitress is what really prepared me to be a part of the CHIC Council. I learned about anticipating expectations, listening to orders, dealing with hungry customers, working with a rag-tag bunch of colleagues, and always suggesting dessert. All this, for very little money! I am looking forward to using my skills for CHIC 2009.

	DEBORAH GRIFFITH Focus Groups Director of Ministry Development for the Central Conference serving the Evangelical Covenant Church It is the responsibility of every member of the body of Christ to participate in developing healthy, growing churches. It is my responsibility to provide the needed resources for our churches. The Christian Formation Commission, the Compassion, Mercy and Justice Commission, as well as the denomination and a variety of resources such as Natural Church Development, provide the vehicle for me to accurately serve our churches.
	KJERSTEN JENNINGS CHIC Office Assistant This is my third year working at the Department of Christian Formation and I love it! Some of my favorite things in life are my husband Michael, San Francisco, CHIC, kittens, and “The Office”.
	PAUL JOHNSON Mainstage Producer University Ministries Program Coordinator at North Park University Paul is on the CHIC Council again because he can’t say no!
	AMANDA KINGRY Small Groups Youth Pastor at Christ Community Covenant Church Arvada Colorado I have been serving at 4Cs for the past 9 years and have loved experiencing all that Colorado has to offer. Both my husband (Joe) and I are Mountain and Beach lovers. I am a Colorado native. Joe and I have two Labs, Strider and Moses that keep us entertained. I am a journal freak and enjoy all sorts of ethnic food.

	DOREEN OLSON Executive Minister of the Department of Christian Formation Doreen is pleased to look for the imago Dei in everyone…and longs to see the whole of the created order reflect the love and goodness of God. Her prayer is that all of God’s children, no matter their age, would continually “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”
	BEN PEASE Operations Youth Pastor, Salem Covenant Church, New Brighton MN As a kid, I awoke one day to be told that our family car would be transformed that night into a taxi cab for The Godfather, Part II. I still have mixed feelings about that. Every time I’m at CHIC, I am so enthused to see students connect with God in life-changing ways, and to have opportunities they may not have again for years. I’m excited to be part of a team that’s committed to provide something so meaningful for our students and our youth workers.
