Free Seating for Weborg Tribute Available
CHICAGO, IL (January 30, 2006) - Tickets are sold out for the dinner to honor
John Weborg, but some individuals will be able to attend the program
honoring the retired North Park Theological Seminary professor.
The dinner is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hamming Hall on the
campus of North Park University. All tickets have been sold for the
dinner. However, individuals desiring to attend the program portion of
the evening event, which begins at 8 p.m., can sit in the balcony free
of charge.
The program, which will include tributes and music, also will
commemorate the forthcoming Festschrift compiled in Weborg's
honor. The essays contained in the publication will reflect Weborg's
interests in theology, spirituality, worship, healing, and embodiment.
Those who are unable to attend the dinner, but who may desire to
contribute to the "Tabula Gratulatoria" in the Festchrift, can do
so by making a check payable to North Park Theological Seminary with
"Weborg Tribute" entered on the memo line. Contributions should be
mailed to the seminary to the attention of Gavin Dluehosh at 3225 W.
