God Hears The Cries Of
The Oppressed And Responds
Exodus 22:23
If
you [mistreat an alien or oppress him or take advantage of a widow or an
orphan] and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry.
Psalm 9:12
For
he who avenges blood remembers; he does not ignore the cry of the
afflicted.
Psalm 10:14
But
you, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in
hand. The victim commits himself to
you; you are the helper of the fatherless.
Psalm 10:17-18
You
hear, O LORD, the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen
to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, in order that man,
who is of the earth, may terrify no more.
Psalm 34:6
This
poor man called, and the LORD heard him; he saved him out of all his
troubles.
James 5:4,11b
Look! The wages you failed to pay the workmen who
mowed your fields are crying out against you.
The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord
Almighty. The LORD is full of
compassion and mercy.
