Hope 4 Kids

Hope 4 Kids was a unique Children’s Service Project because it focused on four countries instead of just one. Grace Covenant Church in Chicago spent each week of Advent focusing on one country during the children’s sermon. Posters for each country were developed, using photos that were available online. Posters were hung in the sanctuary and other places in the church. Each poster had smaller cards about the project/country in a clear, plastic pouch that could be taken by individuals as a reminder to pray. The offering was taken the last week, and it was then placed under the manger to signify that as we give to others, we give to Jesus.

This idea could be adapted for other projects, countries and times throughout the year. Learn more about the Children’s Service Projects which are developed each year.
