If you are an ordained or commissioned minister, you will need to write a letter to the Department/Board of the Ordered Ministry. You will need to explain, in detail, what you will be doing and whom you will be working for and how long you expect to be out of pastoral ministry in the Covenant. Depending on the length and nature of the change you may move to inactive standing or be eligible for a leave of absence.
