What is the difference between an interim license and a "first-time" license?
An interim license is any license granted between denominational Annual Meetings. All
applicants need to be interviewed by the conference committee on
ministerial standing in order to receive an interim license.
A "first-time" license is one that has been approved by both the conference and denominational annual meetings, and is always granted on July 1 (after the Annual Meeting of the ECC).
