Covenant World Mission in cooperation with the Taiwan Covenant Church is organizing an English Language/Chinese culture encounter.  As an English teacher you will participate in a three-week long outreach of Taiwan churches and their communities.  You'll be blessed by the enthusiasm and mission vision of your Chinese coworkers!

What you'll do:

• Teach conversational English in Taiwan Covenant Churches for three weeks and tour the last 2 days.

• Build friendships with Chinese students, fellow team members and church workers

• Experience Chinese culture and hospitality as the local church provides your housing and food.

• Share your faith in a variety of settings.

• Grow in your commitment to Christ.

Requirements:

• Total of 40-60 teachers needed.  We are looking for at least 10 churches willing to organize teams of 4-6 members with designated local leadership.

• College freshman or older (Seniors, that is mature adults, welcome, too!).

• Native English speaker- focus will be English conversation, not grammar.

• Teaching or leadership experience helpful

• A teachable spirit, a servant's heart, and a flexible attitude

When: July 2 - 30, 2008

Cost: US $2,000 Estimated cost from the midwest including airfare and orientation.
