Sandals and Bibles for Sudan


As of February 1, $52,200 has been raised as a result of the 2007 VBS Project, almost double the goal of $27,000! Our missionary to Sudan has purchased the first sandals and Bibles.

Hundreds of children from over 100 churches across the denomination gave to help the people of Sudan in two areas:

  1. Sandals for approximately 4,500 children attending Covenant schools in the Bentiu and Waat regions of Sudan
  2. Bibles and songbooks for pastors and members of the Evangelical Covenant Church of Sudan.
