Through this mission trip, you can experience first-hand what God is doing to bring hope through Covenant Kids ministries in Colombia.

Travel to Bogota and Medellin to work with children’s ministries through the Covenant Church of Colombia. This trip is scheduled for Spring break, March 2013. Cost: airfare plus $1000.

Short-term missionaries can assist with outreach to the refugee and asylum-seeking population in Belgium. Currently that includes a weekly women’s club, children’s activities and home visits. Basic Flemish is required and language study can be incorporated into the beginning of a missionary’s term of service.

This ministry includes planning and leading youth meetings, visiting with families and youth in their homes, participating in local, regional and international youth conferences. Short-term missionaries will assist the pastor of the church as they recognize and sense God’s calling and gifts for ministry. Conduct research and offer recommendations. Identify areas that need transfer of power and responsibility and put community empowerment programs into practice. Identify, secure and coordinate resources to implement programs and recommend potential funding opportunities. Basic French required. Three to four months of language study in France available.
