Covenant World Mission has several partnerships in South Africa. We partner with the Chinese Covenant Church of South Africa (CCCSA), which is working with a large Chinese population in this country. We also partner with Bridges of Hope International, which was created in response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic in South Africa. This ministry is involved in community health education.
The Chinese Covenant Church of South Africa began in 1995, when two missionaries from the Covenant Church of Taiwan were sent to reach out to the growing Chinese population in South Africa. The CCCSA has a strong vision for outreach.
The work of Bridges of Hope International was founded in 2002 by Dennis and Susan Wadley. Through community health education, hundreds of volunteers have been trained to go into their neighborhoods and teach physical, spiritual, and social health principles.
