Jamaica

Covenant Merge Ministries (CMM), which is part of the larger ministry of Covenant World Mission, currently takes mission teams to work with churches in Kingston, St. Thomas, and Manchester. These churches are connected with the ministries of the Southeast Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church. CMM also works with a foster home in Spanish Town.

History

Covenant Merge Ministries was invited to get involved in ministry in Jamaica in 2003. These efforts were started by Jamaican Covenant pastors in South Florida, who initiated and facilitated contact between Covenant Merge Ministries staff and a church in Kingston. This then led to other church connections. From that point on, Merge began to take teams to Jamaica, while also continuing to make an effort to expand the work with churches in that area.
