France

Work started: 1996
With a population of 70 million, France is one of the largest countries in Europe. Its rich history has given it an influential role through the centuries in the arts, politics and industry. In partnership with national evangelical churches, Covenant work began in France in 1996 with a focus on church development.  Although few French people attend church and most consider it irrelevant for today, there is growing interest in spirituality, faith and God.  For this reason we are also working to bridge the gap between the church and general French culture through the arts, discussion groups, and friendship evangelism. We are also developing ministries to marginalized peoples in France through the Mosaics Project.

Missionaries:

  • John and Letha Kerl serving as regional coordinators for Europe/Russia.
  • Francisco and Stephanie Ramos serving in development of church ministries and teaching ministry through the arts
  • Ken Satterberg serving with the Mosaics Project.
