Germany
Work started: 1991
It's
now been several years since the reunification of East and West
Germany, with a current population of 82 million. In the east, where we have partners, the high levels of distrust, high unemployment, fear in the wake of a weakening social
system and state churches who have been losing members in alarming
rates are fertile ground for disillusionment and disappointment. At the
same time, this is fertile ground for the much - needed hope of the
Gospel message. Our partner church is growing, Alpha courses are
bearing fruit, new leaders are being raised up. Several German church
planters are looking for missionary help in the eastern states.
Please pray that Covenanters would rise to meet this mission challenge.
