Pastoral Conferences Metepec Pastors Retreat - Most of the pastors of the Covenant Church in Mexico are bi-vocational, working secular jobs to support their families while carrying out the duties of pastoring small churches. The Mexico mission staff organizes a spring retreat for pastors/leaders and their spouses from each church affiliated with the Covenant Church in Mexico.
| $15,000 | |
Church Planting Training There is an ongoing need for the training of pastors and church planters. What is currently effective is gathering the pastors and lay leaders in a retreat setting for 3 to 4 days. The conference and training events provide quality education, build community and allow meaningful dialogue between teachers and colleagues. Sponsorship opportunities are: |

Church Property and Facilities Often churches barely have enough to pay for a pastor. The mission staff wants to create a fund that will provide financial assistance to local churches. This will allow local congregations to give what they can and see their contribution multiplied by the larger Covenant church. In rural areas a vacant lot can be purchased for $10,000 USD. In metropolitan areas, it is realistic to expect a new church to need to spend close to $750,000 USD to create a ministry presence in an urban community.

This project is not to fund such a model at this time, but to cover needs until the national church and partners have the vision, personnel, and capabilities to pursue such a project. | $5,000 per year

The local churches are often limited in their ministry to children by their budgetary resources. Many local congregations minister to children from low-income families who lack the financial resources to fully participate in the ministries of a local church.
