Other Latin America

Chile
The Covenant affiliated church in Chile has 7 churches with 410 members. It was established in Chile in 1994. We currently do not have missionaries in this country, but several mission teams have traveled to work in Chile over the years. 

CIPE (Confraternity of Latin American Evangelical Covenant Churches). Its members include the Covenant churches of Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico and the Hispanic churches of the United States. Spain holds an associate membership. CIPE exists for fellowship among its members and the encouragement of shared projects like the sending of Latin American Covenant missionaries, theological education, Christian education and the shared projects of Women Ministries and youth. CIPE has a standing executive committee and sponsors a triennial encounter among member representatives.

Covenant Merge Ministries assists groups to plan, train and go on a mission trip. There are various locations in Latin America where groups can serve. Currently, we have several missionaries serving with Covenant Merge Ministries.

• Tammi Biggs (short-term missionary) serves as area director for the Caribbean of Covenant Merge Ministries.
